Welcome
FitzRays is certainly one of London’s hidden gems. It stands amidst the sea of businesses that has become the new downtown core focused around the JLC and offers refuge to anyone with an appetite for food, live music, or just a quick drink.
What's distinct about the FitzRays is how well it uses space. The patio that is just out the side door is always buzzing, especially in the warmer months; the restaurant offers seclusion from the rush of the bar with a large dividing curtains; the stage that is directly beside the door offers a great intimate live music venue, the bar itself is centralized , and there are HD flat screen TV’s every where making it a perfect place to watch a game or event.
FitzRays is quaint and casual. The bar serves the restaurant and patio, but also provides comfortable stools for anyone who wants to relax and have a quick drink. The dining area in the restaurant is spacious and yet cozy. Dim hanging lights give the room a calm atmosphere, even though so much is going on around it. You will certainly be enthused with how genuinely appetizing the menu is. Most people expect typical pub fare, but are thrilled that there is so much more.
The staff is the lifeblood of FitzRays. They will make you feel at home, and treat you like you just walked into your best friend’s house . They are your knowledgeable hosts and will ensure your every need is taken care of . The music lives in the walls and it's the perfect venue for live music. There are no barriers between the stage and the crowd. Everyone is in it together, unified in the room's simplicity.
With the John Labatt Center directly across the street , we are so close to great hockey, music and events and FitzRays is the perfect place to come before and after any event on any night of the week, considering there are drink and food specials on various days. On Friday and Saturday nights , coming down to listen to some of the great local talent on our stage is sure to make you smile.
I look forward to welcoming you, and making FitzRays part of an excellent downtown experience.
